Meet Caroline Spitz

Sometimes, things are just hard. You may feel disconnected from yourself, stuck in familiar patterns, or unsure how to move forward (even if you understand where those patterns come from!).

Caroline Spitz, PLMHP offers a warm, supportive space to slow down, make sense of what’s going on, and reconnect with yourself. She works with adults navigating the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and difficult family-of-origin experiences.

Under the supervision of Dr. Tina D. Hoffman, Caroline brings curiosity, authenticity, and creativity into her work and believes you shouldn’t have to figure everything out on your own.

Caroline's Approach

Caroline believes a genuine and trusting relationship is at the heart of effective therapy. She strives to create a space where you can be known and understood at a pace that feels right for you. Together, you can explore how your life experiences have shaped the present and where you would like to go from here.

Her work is grounded in Relational-Cultural Theory and draws from Interpersonal Process Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She tailors her work to each person, inviting collaboration and feedback along the way to make sure therapy reflects what you want and need from it.

Caroline was trained as a generalist, but specializes in working with:
