Psychological
Evaluation
A psychological evaluation can help uncover the root of concerns related to attention, mood, learning, identity, or other challenges.
At Phoenix Psychology, we offer comprehensive and collaborative evidence-based evaluations to support greater clarity and well-being.
1
Diagnostic Interview
We begin with an interview to understand your concerns and determine whether testing is the best next step. Due to the collaborative and in-depth nature of this process, the diagnostic intake phase typically requires more than one session.
2
Testing (if appropriate)
If testing is recommended, we’ll seek insurance pre-authorization (if required) and schedule your assessment. The type of testing depends on your needs and the questions we’re working to answer.
3
Feedback Session
Once testing is complete, we’ll meet with you to explain the results, clarify any diagnoses, and provide personalized recommendations to help guide your next steps.
*Additional Notes
We do not provide court-ordered or court-related evaluations.
Psychology Assistants assist in the testing process under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
Testing requires the person to abstain from substances, including but not limited to THC and alcohol, for at least a month prior to testing.
