Meet Millie Myers
Millie is currently in her fifth year at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and is completing a year-long practicum placement with Phoenix Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Tina D. Hoffman. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a trauma-informed lens to her clinical work, offering a space where clients can explore their experiences with safety, intention, and support.
Millie is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with what matters most to them. She has a particular interest in supporting clients navigating (non)religious identity development, chronic illness, and grief, as well as those experiencing anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Her hope is to create a compassionate, welcoming environment where you can reflect, grow, and move toward healing at your own pace.
Millie's Approach
Millie’s therapeutic style is relational, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful connection is central to healing and personal growth. She works from an interpersonal process approach, paying close attention to the relational patterns that shape how clients understand themselves and their connections with others.

Her work integrates elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supporting clients in building emotional awareness, developing practical coping tools, and moving toward lives guided by their values. Millie’s goal is to meet each person with compassion and attunement, creating a space where exploration feels both supportive and empowering.
