Meet Kayla Anselmo-Gilliam
Kayla joined the Phoenix team in December 2025. With two years of experience as a CNA and a strong medical background, Kayla brings an open, kind, and trustworthy approach to the care she provides.
About Kayla
A 2024 graduate of Waverly High School, Kayla is currently enrolled in nursing school, with the hopes of specializing in Labor & Delivery. Kayla prides herself on being loyal, attentive, and genuinely invested in the wellbeing of the people she supports. She brings care and intention into her work, always striving to show up in a way that feels supportive, trustworthy, and grounded for those around her.
Her warm and thoughtful approach helps others feel seen and valued, which is why she places a strong emphasis on being responsive to others’ needs and offering consistent, compassionate care in everything she does.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys playing board games, spending time with her boyfriend and friends, and listening to old country music. A lover of the color pink and all things western, she brings a sense of fun, personality, and authenticity into both her work and everyday life.
